Meet Our Team
I’ve lived in Park County for over 40 years. I was a guide and outfitter for most of my life. My family was raised here, and I believe the people of the Big Horn Basin are among the luckiest people in the world. It is a great to live in a place that most people can only dream of. I look forward to helping you with your real estate needs.
Born and raised in Cody I have been here all my life except for a short time while in the Marine Corps and College. For 32 years of my life I was in the food business, and during some of those years I owned and ran four different operations.
After retiring in 1985 I started selling real estate. My “part time” job is now only 50-60 hours a week. I have been a million dollar plus producer every year that I have been in the business.
In November of 1999 I opened my own office and am extremely pleased with the support and business we have enjoyed since. We have a great staff and work well together.
After college I worked in the travel industry for 13 years. Traveling the world was wonderful. It also made me really appreciate the quality of life we have here in Park County, Wyoming. I then got an opportunity to work for a Wall Street firm “Fitch Ratings and American Capital Access”, learning a lot. When they pulled operations out of Wyoming I decided to get into Real Estate and have been licensed since January 1999. I have truly found my niche. It is wonderful getting to share our area with clients and finding their dream properties. Being a 4th generation Park County-ite allows me to know our area extensively. I married Hal Dicks, owner of Tresler and Dicks Architects in 1997 and we were blessed with a son on 4/6/01. My favorite days are spending time in the mountains with friends and family. I feel so lucky to be raising a 5th generation here in Cody – Powell Country. I am living my dream in Park County, Wyoming and would love to help you live yours as well. I am a professional Realtor you can trust to work for you. Email: Barbaraguthriedicks@gmail.com
I am a Wyoming native and a resident of Park County for the past forty four years. My husband Mark and our five sons lived and traveled in Asia and Africa for sixteen years. I am a graduate of Cody High School. I have a background of public relations and business. My husband and I enjoy fishing and spending time with family and friends.
As a longtime resident of Wyoming I treasure the values that make the West what it is. Riding for the brand, living each day with courage, taking pride in my work, the firmness of a handshake, the sincerity of a smile, the importance of good neighbors are just a few of those. I believe in those things. I believe in the Code of the West.
I have lived all over this great state, from Casper to Cody, Gillette to Jackson, Rawlins to Riverton and places in between, and I’ve met the people who make Wyoming great. Whether you are looking for that cozy cottage in town, a mountain cabin get-away, or a place for a few horses and dogs, where the kids (or you!) can hunt and fish, it would be my greatest pleasure to assist you in finding your place in the West we call Wyoming. Give me a call today and together we’ll begin your greatest adventure! Email: RitaFiller14@gmail.com
I started in the adventure of remodeling and flipping homes in 1987 in Washington State, so Real Estate has always held an interest for me.
In 1995 I moved to Nevada, and while living there, traveled in and through 47 States and 4 Provinces of Canada for business.
Then in 2000 I bought a 140ac farm in mid-eastern Oregon, near the Idaho boarder. There I raised two boys & ran the farm, which included growing alfalfa and raising 600 meat rabbits.
At the same time, I also became an ICA (Idaho Cowboys Assoc.), photographer due to my boys riding rough stock at an early age.
Twenty One years ago I had the opportunity to travel around the Cody area, and fell in love. It was then that I decided that one day I would make this beautiful, amazing place my home.
When I did finally realize my dream of living here in 2010, I became intrigued with the abundance of wildlife in the area. It was an easy transition to get into Wildlife, Western Fine Art, and Rodeo Photography, and I am currently a partner in Open Range Images Photography Gallery in Cody.
I still couldn’t ignore my interest in Real Estate though, so I decided that I would become a Realtor so I could be a part of helping other people like me realize their dreams too.
Let me help you find your dream property, today!
The Bighorn Basin is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I am a Wyoming native, and have very fond memories of boating, fishing, horseback riding, and camping with my family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents in the summers on the Northfork, Yellowstone Park, and the Bighorn Mountains. Winters often found us gathered on one of the reservoirs outside Meeteetse ice fishing, sledding, and enjoying our Wyoming outdoors. After spending time in Montana, a farm exchange to Australia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Management from Chadron State College in Nebraska, and being a 4-H/Youth Extension Educator in Buffalo, WY my family and I are now back in the area we enjoy. It would be my pleasure to help you find the right home that suits your family, whether residential property, small acreage, or farm/ranch acreage.
I have been a resident of Cody for over 50 years. I joined the U.S. Navy in 1962 and received an honorable discharge in 1968; then, I spent several more years in the Army National Guard. Most of my career has been spent in transportation– from driving a truck to company owner and owner/operator.
My wife and I bought our first house in Cody in 1968. Since then, we have bought and sold real estate for personal investment. We are fortunate to have raised our four daughters and numerous grandchildren in and around Cody. The area is great for hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, horseback riding and just plain enjoying the mountains and weather. Most of the people in Cody enjoy the outdoors and are happy to answer questions and point out places of interest.
I feel fortunate to work with one of the most experienced real estate teams in Park County and the Big Horn Basin. I would love to help you with whatever your real estate needs may be.
